Metabolic Training For Fat Loss
Metabolic training that combines cardio and weight training in one workout has been proven the most effective and efficient way of gaining strength and conditioning, as well as the most effective way to burn fat and lose weight.
Consider this: each pound is equal to about 3,500 calories. That means that for every pound you hope to lose, you have cut from your diet or burn an extra 3,500 calories!
A cardio-only workout increases your metabolism, causing you to burn fat and calories while you are exercising. Once you’re finished, your body quickly returns to its normal metabolism. To make matters more difficult, your body adjusts to your cardio-only workout after about six weeks, burning even fewer calories. And if you diet by reducing calories without adding weight training, you could end up with a slower metabolism than ever! That’s because when you reduce your calorie intake, some of what you lose is muscle; the less muscle you have, the slower your metabolism. Ultimately, you may reach your goal weight but slow your metabolism, making it even harder to maintain your weight than it was before you started your diet.
To lose weight, you need metabolic training to give you the biggest bang for your calorie-burning buck both during and after your workout. You need Nyack Boot Camp!
